1. 1. Spelling | |
---|---|
Aim: | correct writing of English language |
Exercise in class: | spelling, teaching spelling rules |
Duties at home: |
daily update of the index with the basic vocabulary, correction of errors, write down 10 times each error, repeat all index before each class. dictate words that we spotted often misspelled by the kid. check that works are correctly copied to the index |
2. Reading – Comprehension – Oral expression | |

Aim: | correct pronunciation of English language understanding English texts oral communication |
Exercise in class: | reading out loud in class in the classroom we speak only English open questions – complete answers discussion, role games oral summary of literature texts, articles from magazines or news papers internet comprehension questions localization of narrative techniques |
Listening: | practice in hearing and understanding a text |
Duties at home: | read out loud the lesson if asked get the student to learn by heart a text and ask him to narrate it, reading of literature texts, we check if he did read his/her book, if he/she has prepared his/her presentation |
3. Written expression | |
---|---|
Aim: | writing, learning specific sentences, settled structures that govern writing and help its reproduction |
Exercise in class: | teaching syntax of English language teaching rules of description, narration, teaching the structure of essays, doing exercises using multimedia and the internet i.e. Historical personalities, Projects on literature. |
Duties at home: | Every day the student is asked to write essays sentences or a paragraph and do exercises using the words of the day |
4. 4. Games | |

Aim: | recreational: the joy of playing, instructional: recalling gained knowledge (repetition) and reproducing taught subjects, psychological: installing team spirit and healthy competition. |
5. Evaluation – reward | |
---|---|
Aim: | evaluating instructional work, evaluating student’s progress. Through evaluation we form an opinion for the instructional process as a whole i.e. the teacher, the children and the parents. |
In class: | daily evaluation: spelling, brief tests, listening, repetition tests, reward excellence but also progress. |
6. Preparing at home |

Choose a specific time and day of the week without annoyance and distractions, without assistance unless otherwise suggested by the teacher. At the end check what you have learned. |
